Primary Practice: Multidisciplinary Arts Worker & Circus Artist

Emily (she/her) is an Edinburgh born crip multidisciplinary arts worker and circus artist, interested in the overlappng roles of artist, neighbour, citizen, friend.

Experience: Emily has worked internationally on award-winning projects for all ages, her performance collaborations and photography work often drawing in what circus arts can teach us about interconnection, solidarity and weight sharing.  She brings these reflections into her new role with SAU, along with her experiences working in grassroots mutual aid organising, artist support, event production and on projects celebrating access and disabled knowledge making.  Emily looks forward to working with members and co-workers across Scotland particularly Gaidhealtachd regions.

Emily is a recent alumni of UHI's MA Art and Social Practice and is based in An t-Eilean Sgitheanach / Isle of Skye.
