Please note:

Members' Liability cover applies to any claims arising from work done from the later date of 21st April 2018 or the commencement date of continuous membership of the Scottish Artists Union.

Professional Indemnity cover is on a claims made basis (different from Public Liability that is on a claims occurring basis) so this means that cover has to be in the force when the claim is formally made. This means that members will need to maintain continuous cover (membership) to ensure that their cover remains valid. Any break in membership would have the effect of re-setting the retroactive date of the cover and render all previous work uninsured.
