Important Membership Update
As you know, we’ve now migrated our membership database to a new platform (Glue Up https://www.glueup.com/)
We're also switching our payment system from Direct Debit to card payment via STRIPE.
Please check your email inboxes and junk for your welcome email and invite to register with Glue Up and from there, to sign into the SAU’s members portal where you can update your membership profile and contact/privacy details.
WHY CHANGE?
This new system will help streamline the process of new members joining and provide a user friendly portal enabling our 2600+ members to access Member resources, update contact details, sign up for events and learning opportunities and to manage your membership renewal payments.
Important to note
It hasn't been possible to migrate all of your information, such as qualifying 'Membership Criteria' - you are required to input this manually via the simple online form.
Please check your contact details. We need an up-to-date address so that we can send you your membership card.
There will be a change of payment method for your 2025-26 membership. By now you will have received invitation to renew your membership - you can set up a recurring card payment, either by clicking on the ‘pay now’ button or via your online portal.
Your current method of payment (Direct Debit) will not be triggered in April.
We recommend that you cancel the current Direct Debit that you set up via GoCardless.
If you have chosen to pay your annual membership in monthly instalments you will receive a monthly reminder which, if you’ve ticked the recurring payments box when making your initial payment, will renew automatically.

Email body of text: this is an automated email that Glue Up sends to members when their data has been migrated.
Activating your online SAU [via glue up] account
Firstly, please activate your Glue Up account by clicking on the ‘Access Account Now’ button.
Similar to our previous Nationbuilder platform you'll be asked to set up a login password.
Once you’ve accessed your ‘My Glue’ dashboard please navigate to the SAU portal, where you can check the contact details that we currently hold for you are up to date and amend if necessary.
You can also set your privacy and notifications preferences.
We’ve found that the whole registration/sign up and updating of details takes between 5-10 minutes.

In your dashboard you’ll see and have access to:
Your profile - (staff admin have access to your profile details for administration purposes)
SAU’s website
Your ‘active’ membership details (choice to edit profile, payment status, cancel your membership)

Members Directory

Prior to renewals of 1st April, you will be prompted to set up a recurring card payment.
Please make sure to tick the recurring payment box so that you don’t receive annoying automated emails!
SAU do not and never will have access to your payment details.
