AGM Making Day @ Hospitalfield
Join us for a workshop with art historian and trade unionist, Hailey Maxwell and signpainter, Ciaran Globel. Hailey will guide participants through the history of image making in the labour movement, inviting us to think through how symbols and images give communities of workers power and unity in their struggles. This will be followed by various facilitated making activities, including a tutorial on signpainting and lettering from Ciaran as well as a banner making session.
11:30 - 12:00 Registration and welcome
12:00 - 16:00 Workshop/making sessions with a lunch break.
FREE vegetarian lunch provided and an optional tour of Hospitalfield with a member of staff.
