This session will focus on the fundamentals of union organising. Ever thought you should be in a union but weren’t entirely sure why? Ever wondered what it takes for unions to achieve victories, big and small? This session will cover the basics of building power through union organising and how that power can be used to make positive change to our work and to our lives. Solidarity Sessions are regular peer-to-peer learning sessions for SAU members and those interested in joining. These sessions will be open, welcoming and supportive, and directed by members’ participation and priorities.
