Here's a Members Update February 2022, including information about the Creative Scotland Hardship Fund for Creative Freelancers and our Survey on your experience of Contracts, Fair Work and a Union Rep network. Also info about Arika festival in March.

 
 

HARDSHIP FUND FOR CREATIVE FREELANCERS 

This is an email to let you know that the Hardship fund for Creative Freelancers has been relaunched by Creative Scotland and is now open for applications.

SAU MEMBERS SURVEY ON CONTRACTS, FAIR WORK & BUILDING A REP NETWORK 

Please take part in this short survey 

We want to survey Scottish Artists Union members about the use of contracts and the principles of Fair Work, with a view to building a Rep network within our Union.
Please help us by contributing your answers to this short survey, it should only take a few minutes. The survey will stay open until 5pm on Thursday 10th March.

Arika is providing a Fund for Childcare, Carers & Support Workers-
"Support towards the cost of childcare, carers or support workers is available on a first come first served basis for those who need it to be able to attend any of these events. This is a limited fund that we will try to spread across different sessions."
Arika is providing a Fund for Phone Data Costs
Mobile phone top-ups are available for people in the UK who need it to attend the events. This will be provided at £10 per person, on a first come first served basis. 
*Please note that if you want to access the funding support to attend, you must email Arika by March 2nd or before*
