Constituted in 2001, the Scottish Artists Union lobbies on behalf of visual artists working in Scotland, defending their rights, expanding their benefits and fighting to make their professional practice a means to support a better quality of life.

The Scottish Artists Union is the representative voice of artists working in Scotland.

We represent over 2400 visual artists, applied artists and makers.

We work on behalf of our members, defending their rights, expanding their benefits, and fighting to make a professional career in the arts sustainable for all our members.
