This one-day course developed for freelance artists, arts professionals and recent graduates, covers all aspects of managing the business and financial side of your career as well as guiding learners through different strategies to help you negotiate better contracts alongside understanding the value held within your own creative practice. Most artists have a heavy workload and will have a large amount of admin associated with their practice and this course aims to provide strategies to help you manage more efficiently. The training will help you feel more confident to directly address your cash flow, price your work, complete a self assessment tax return and negotiate fair work, better rates of pay and contracts with potential employers.
