This update from the Scottish Government directs businesses to the most up to date information on COVID-19 as we move forward with our economic response.

 
 

The Find Business Support website continues to provide details on the assistance available as well as information and advice on how businesses can restart safely through and out of lockdown. 

At Monday’s media briefing, the First Minister welcomed the announcement from the UK government of a significant package of financial support for the cultural, arts and heritage sector, stressing that officials are seeking clarity on exactly how the different funding arrangements will work, but that all funding will be passed on in full in Scotland to our arts, culture and heritage sector.

Regulations on planning are being temporarily relaxed to support the hospitality industry to safely restart.

Good practice guidelines for re-opening museums, galleries and heritage attractions during the coronavirus pandemic were published today. 

Technology and manufacturing businesses can now apply for funding for projects up to £1.5m to develop innovative digital technologies that have the potential to transform supply chains through the UK government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund.
